FutureScan Ltd has received an order for the latest state of the art Dual-View X-Ray security screening machine into Malca-Amit UK’s freight handling premises at Heathrow. This highly security conscious site made this decision based on exacting requirements some of which are listed below.
FutureScan received the order for a Voti XR3D-7D dual-view machine at the beginning of March 2019. This followed a review of available equipment in today’s market place by Malca-Amit UK, who were looking to upgrade their security screening machinery to provide the best available image in the market place along with many other features that put the XR3D-7D at the forefront of threat detection. Meeting both CAA and DfT regulations.
The XR3D-7D security screener was especially suited to Malca-Amit UK’s situation as it is an X-ray conveyor system that offers the highest specification and latest technology currently available in today’s market. It includes the latest dual view technology as well as fewer component parts and a software platform providing outstanding imagery.
This machine also has the capability of being linked via Wi-Fi, enabling fast diagnosis should a fault or concern be raised. Thus, reducing downtime dramatically and in many cases negating the need for an engineer to be called to the site. Furthermore, software updates can be done online without the need for an engineer to carry out a site visit, again reducing downtime for the customer. Many other manufacturers must take the machine out of service to carry out this procedure.
Malca-Amit specialise in the secure transportation of valuable freight, shipping worldwide. The freight will be passed through the X-ray machine, then securely transported to Heathrow airport for shipping.
